MALMÖ SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
seeks musicians who can, in a creative working partnership, give the benefit of their professionalism, musicality and personality towards the development of the 21st century's symphony orchestra.

HOW TO APPLY
Send the digital application form before the date relevant to the audition you are applying for. The dates can be found next to each open position – see below.

Non EU citizens (with the exception of the Nordic countries) need a work and residence permit to work in Sweden. Malmö Symphony Orchestra can not guarantee that you would obtain the permit should you be offered employment.

The orchestra will provide an accompanist for the audition. The applicant must pay for any rehearsals with the pianist taking place before the day of the audition.

The Malmö Symphony Orchestra will unfortunately not be able to pay for any travel or accommodation costs.

The day after applications close, detailed information about the audition, confirmation form and orchestra excerpts will be posted next to each open position – see below.

In order to be invited to audition, the applicant has to confirm their participation by sending the confirmation form no later than seven days before the audition date. Applicants will not be invited should the form arrive later.

A preliminary screening of the applicants may occur. Applicants unable to be invited will be informed by email or mail.
