The Malmö Symphony Orchestra is focusing greatly in children and young people. With our Teddy Bear concerts, school and family productions and study visits, we are constantly attracting new generations to the Concert Hall. Here, children and their parents meet great classical music and the sound of the orchestra. Always successful, always packed!

Teddy Bear Concerts
Every year, the MSO and Teddy Bear put on five really funny concerts. The full-size symphony orchestra plays magnificent music in the company of exciting guests and artists. Always a professional production with a particular slant towards the whole family. Popular, amusing, packed out – always on a Saturday!

Daytime school concerts
Each season, the Malmö Symphony Orchestra puts on around 20 school concerts for an average of 25,000 children and young people. Well-planned, thoroughly professional productions for all levels

To School Concerts

Come on a study visit with your day nursery                                                                  Every week, children come to the Concert Hall to listen in on one of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra rehearsals. They get to learn a little about the instruments in a symphony orchestra and get to know our Concert Hall. No questions are silly and nothing is too grand to be called into question. Our Concert Hall educationalist, Linus Hjelm, talks about music in a playful way. The visit lasts for about an hour. Book an appointment by phone on +46 (0)40 630 45 00.
